Dear Periods

In the current society we live in so many teenagers and youth write this letter to their menstruation cycle almost every month. This leaves you wondering what’s happening to the use of condoms or are we girls so scared of getting pregnant.
As I write this blog I’m going through my monthly menstruation cycle and it’s reminded me of a time where my close friend was nervous wreak because she thought she was pregnant. This got me thinking how many girls go through this issue every month when it gets to their period time. I am sure most of the ladies reading this have experienced the anxiety while awaiting their periods (If not you should be proud of yourself for always been careful) It’s mostly the funniest and scariest moment in your month when you just aren’t sure what to expect.
It usually happens like this… The scariest part is when you’re suspicious that you’re pregnant. This happens to a lot of you after having unprotected sex, weeks later you’re on “panic mode”. During this time your mind and body plays tricks on you since you’re already paranoid, it makes it easier; you get back pains, you frequently feel like urinating, you get nausea, you’re always fatigued, and you become sensitivity to taste and smell and at times get constipation. After all this symptoms, you’re convinced that you’re pregnant. You start thinking of a solution or who it is for etc. (you know what you all think about).
Here is the funny part when your periods come just when you expect them or days later due to the contraceptives pills you took or the fact that you didn’t count your days well or your don’t even know if your cycle is 21days or 28days. After the panic and the emotional distress you have put yourself through, you realize you aren’t pregnant, you feel stupid and happy at the same time…
To all you pretty girls out there. Stop torturing yourself with all this, just use a condom.

This letter is one of my close friend favorite and I am sure it’s one of your favorite letters too.”
